Adventurous Life It is time for you to start living the adventurous life you were created to live. God has given you unique desires and visions that He wants you to fulfill as you walk more intimately with Him and others. It is not about pursuing your desires and visions; it is about fulfilling the desires and visions that God has placed in you. This is life's real adventure "...longing fulfilled is a tree of life" (Proverbs 13:12). We want to be part of your adventure. AdvisorsGod is inviting each one of us to go on a great journey with Him; A journey that He has uniquely, purposefully, and personally designed for you to experience with Him. When God guides your words and actions it makes an eternal difference in the lives you touch. God has created a team of advisors to come along with you on this great adventure. You will never escape the highs and lows of life; however, you will have a family of believers to walk with you and share the indescribable joy and peace that comes from God, while knowing you are in the center of His will. Ask yourself: Who are the advisors currently journeying with you (tax advisors, financial planners, pastors, attorneys, etc.)? Do they share your core values and beliefs? Are they the advisors you believe God has called to journey with you?DiscoverYou will discover your own unique journey as you spend time with God. We believe that God can do all He said He can do through us. We all have a calling and we all need friends who will come beside us to water the seeds Christ has planted inside each of us. As God fills you with His Holy Spirit, He empowers you to be led by His Spirit and equips you to recognize His voice and His unique promptings as you lead others to do the same.Ask yourself...Am I fulfilling all the purposes and dreams that God had in mind for me when He created me? What if we looked at our businesses, our marriages, our families, and our circles of influence and asked: Is this the best that God has in mind for us? Is this really the life Jesus has called us to live as we follow Him? What if we really believe that ‘nothing is impossible with God’, and we start to let the Holy Spirit reveal all that God wants to do in and through us? What if we were to share those Holy Spirit-inspired dreams with others? What might we accomplish as we pursue those dreams together to see them become a reality? What would it be like to experience the impossible become possible? You are His chosen leader, not because of who you are or what you have done, but because God adopted you as His child through Christ Jesus. It's time to put away the victim thinking and put on victorious living, for you are His chosen child, a reflection of His image. Next StepsInformation is just entertainment or a false sense of security, if we never do anything with it. Our goal is to work with our clients to turn information into transformation. Jesus told us that our daily prayer should be: "God... your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10, NIV). We bring God's kingdom power and life where ever we go to “proclaim good news to the poor (and) freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor" (Luke 4:18-19, NIV). It is the same mission of Jesus, and the apostles: "Jesus gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness... Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons" (Matthew 10:1,7,8 NIV; explore Luke 9:1-6, Matthew 10:5-15, Luke 10:1-23). It is the same mission Jesus empowers us to live through the Holy Spirit's leading: "I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father... and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you." (John 14:12, 16-17, NLT). The life God has called you to live is an amazing life, lived outside of your comfort zone. This is what your spirit has been yearning for, starving for, and craves. The Spirit of God lives and thrives in adventure while evil thrives in the spirit of fear (John 10:10; 2 Timothy 1:7). It's time to break free from fear and let God lead you out of your comfort zone into His amazing adventure. “Do not merely listen to [God's voice]... Do what it says” (James 1:22, NIV) and “go and make disciples to all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Led by God to LeadWho is pouring life into you; who are you pouring life into? Imagine having a team of leaders committed to knowing you and encouraging you to live the adventurous life you were created to live. We all grow when we follow Jesus’ model for intimate life learning. God has called all believers to go and make disciples. The word "disciple" means "learner". That means we are all "learners" making "learners" with the Holy Spirit as our teacher (John 14:26). Imagine having access to over 10,000 professionally produced on-demand professional videos all designed with information needed to live the life God created you to live. We all need a friends who will walk together with us through the challenges of life. Our BeliefsI started LaPorte Wealth Management Group for those who have a heart to pursue the adventure God has placed inside of them. LaPorte Wealth Management Group is not place or person, nor is it a religious denomination; It is a family. A just like a family, you and I may share many core beliefs and values and at the same time we are uniquely designed by God with different callings, convictions, beliefs, and values. Family is more important to us that whether you are Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Lutheran, Protestant, or any other denomination. The Bible is the foundation for all Christians' beliefs and values. We acknowledge that the Bible is inspired by God. We believe God desires us all to be learners and readers of the entire Bible, not just the sections that support our personal beliefs or biases. • In essential core beliefs of Christianity - we have unity for there is only one Body and one Spirit…there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all… (Ephesians 4:4–6). • In non-essential beliefs - we have liberty. Our response is to others about the mysteries in life that the Bible does not clearly clarified is "You might be right." "Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters…who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls…So then each of us will give an account of himself to God…So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God" (Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22). • In all our beliefs - we show love… "If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains—but I have no love, I amount to nothing at all" (1 Corinthians 13:2).The Essentials We BelieveThe sole basis for our belief is God's written word, the Bible. It is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it speaks. There is one God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - each possessing all the attributes of deity. God created humans to be so intimate with Him that His Holy Spirit would live within them to lead them so they would be the very reflection/image of His will (image of God). Yet, the human race, through Adam's decision, chose to be lead by its own knowledge of good and evil, instead of being led by God’s Spirit. Without the leadership and the power of God’s Spirit, humans soon discovered it was impossible to do all the good that they know they should do (Genesis 1 & 2; Romans 7). God knows that our deepest fulfillment only comes when we feel His presence and leading in our life and we are being a complete moment by moment reflection of His will . Yet, our disobedience and inabilities to do God’s will (sin) caused us to hide from God; hidden from the very source that could give us our deepest fulfillment, true life. We believe with all our hearts that Jesus Christ came to be the cleansing sacrifice. He removed all the excuses we could ever have to having a relationship with God. Jesus made the way for God’s Holy Spirit to live in us and to empower us to live the adventurous life God has called us to live. This was a gift from God, not to be earned by human effort, but to be received personally by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplished salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Jesus. Jesus rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. He baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit. He will return to earth someday. The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service. The role of God's family is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God. All of us together are the temple of God because the Spirit of God lives in us (1 Corinthians 3:16). When we gather together, it is not a spectator event but, a participatory, living, breathing entity called the body of Christ. Our MottoOur motto is “Love, Listen, Live” because it reveals the core, the heart of why we exist. Love Be intentional - Let God’s love flow in you and through you. Love is what flows out of those who have God’s life living in them and through them (1 John 4:8). This is True life (Luke 9:24). God’s desire is for you to seek Him (Matthew 6:33) and He will place His Spirit within you (Ezekiel 36:26-27; 1 Corinthians 3:16; John 15:9-11). God wants to fill you to overflowing with His love so that it will flow into the lives of others (Matthew 22:37-40; 1 Corinthians 13). You are able to receive God’s Holy Spirit, love, and acceptance because you are His adopted son or daughter. This adoption was not based on your performance but of God’s choosing. The price God paid for your adoption was the cross (John 3:16; Eph. 1:3-14). It's nothing you deserved or earned. Satan always tries to get you to base your relationship with God on your performance because the closer you are to God the more you become the reflection and image of God. This oneness and closeness does not happen when you are filled with pride, shame, or guilt. Listen Be willing and available - Listen to God’s Spirit. You were designed by God to be the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27); a complete reflection of His will (John 14:7) by hearing His voice and following it (John 10:27-31). The only way you can completely reflect God’s will is for you to be in relationship with God through Jesus Christ, to have His Holy Spirit living inside of you, and for you to trust and obey His leading. You learn and meditate on God’s written word so that you can learn to confirm His voice (Psalm 119:15). It is not about being ruled by rules but by a relationship in which God leads your thoughts, desires, and imaginations. Live Be obedient - Live out what it means to be the image of God (John 5:19; 14:7). Be a living example of what it means to have God’s Spirit living in you and through you (1 Corinthians 11:1; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 5:2). Live the life God has called you to live -- a life that leads others into a growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ. When you do this you carry forward His mission and do the same things He did (John 14:12) for you receive the authority that comes from the Father. We are to live a life that is full of both grace and truth (John 1:14; 1 John 4:8). Schedule a time today to meet Dustin LaPorte to learn more. .
