Charities We Love
As Jesus taught in Matthew 25:35–39, NIV...
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me...Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Giving to those in need is part of our calling; it is the essence of who we all are designed to be.
Many times our clients have a heart for giving and appreciate knowing the people and ministries we support so they can join us in making a difference. Some even ask us to hand-deliver their checks to the ministry to help ensure their donation reaches the intended ministry department rather than the ministry's general fund. If you would like us to assist in this way, you may mail your donation to:
Dustin LaPorte
180 Mossy Oak Way
Mount Pleasant, SC 29464
However, please make sure that all checks are made payable directly to the charity. For legal and transparency reasons, we cannot accept donations made payable to Dustin LaPorte or to any member of our staff.
Missions at Citadel Square Church
One of our favorite churches is Citadel Square Church, for it is a verse-by-verse Bible teaching church in downtown Charleston, committed to discipleship, raising the next generation, and sharing the gospel locally and globally. We love sponsoring people to go on mission trips to share the love of God with others.
This year, we are partnering with our global partners at Covenant Church to serve in Khon Kaen, Thailand. During our time there, we will serve the staff, encourage believers, and participate in community outreach and service projects. This mission's trip is not a vacation, but an incredible opportunity to work alongside my daughter in a place far outside of our comfort zone and time zone to make an eternal difference not only in the lives of those we serve, but also within us.
My hope is to encourage them in their personal walk with Jesus Christ by sharing many of the life changing biblical financial and relational principles that have made the greatest impact in my life. Citadel Square Church has graciously covered the cost of this mission trip. However, each member of the team has personally committed to fund raising for the church to continue in its mission work. If you feel led to pray and help us each reach our fundraising commitment, you can give through...

Your contributions are tax-deductible gifts made to Citadel Square Church, not to any individual member of the team. Therefore, contributions are non-refundable, even if something prevents team members such as Dustin or Anna from going.
Girl Scouts
We need champions like you to support our local chapters—people who encourage these young girls and help them see what’s possible. We believe strongly in investing in the next generation of female leaders. For nearly a decade, Dustin has served as an elected member of the Board of Directors in several roles, including Second Vice Chair, Chair of the Investment Subcommittee, and Treasurer.
The Gideons International
Since 1899, this ministry has helped fund the distribution of free Bibles worldwide. When I received a free Bible as a college student, reading it changed my life and continues to do so. Now I purchase Bibles to give out freely to others. A case of 100 ESV New Testaments purchased from The Gideons International, as a member, costs $205. Here in Charleston, I have the opportunity to place God’s Word into the hands of people who come here from around the world.

On the Rock Ministries
We support this ministry because it powerfully shows how the Gospel can transform lives. Through prison outreach, discipleship, and testimony, On The Rock Ministries brings hope to those who are incarcerated and helps break cycles of addiction, crime, and despair by pointing people to the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ.
Hope to Home Furniture Resource
Their mission is to deliver essential home furnishings to displaced or homeless individuals and families who secure housing. Together, we help transform their empty living space into a comfortable “home”.
Seacoast Church | Men's Hike
One of the most powerful, life-changing ministries is the Men’s Hike. It’s incredible what God can do in a man’s heart when he takes time to unplug, get away, and reconnect with Him. Even if someone has never hiked or camped before, camping gear is shared, and regular training and preparation meetings help men hit the trail ready for both adventure and growth.
We love helping provide scholarships so more men can participate. If you would like to help, please make your check payable to:
